Fraternity & Sorority Life has several policies in place that fraternities and sororities must abide by to maintain recognition with the university. Read more about the policies affecting our organizations.
University Approved Housing (UAH) is a policy that allows student organizations the privilege to operate as an approved housing facility for students required to live on campus during their first semesters at S&T. UAH facilities must meet strict guidelines to maintain the facility in a fashion similar to a university residence hall to be permitted to house new students. The UAH policy outlines all requirements and guidelines for facilities to be designated as UAH.
The Alcohol Policy is an appendix of the University Approved Housing (UAH) policy. The Alcohol Policy sets forth the standards and expectations for use of alcohol in UAH facilities at Missouri S&T. UAH organizations are responsible for ensuring all residents and guests abide by the policy at all times and enforce safe drinking and social gathering procedures.
This section contains different types of reports that reflect upon various metrics measured by Fraternity & Sorority Life and Student Involvement.
Contains copies of the Community Grade Report (CGR), a semesterly breakdown of FSL academic achievement compared to the FSL community and S&T
A semesterly breakdown of individual chapter achievement utilizing the Standards of Excellence advising program
Standards of Excellence (SOE) is an advising program used by the office of Student Involvement to better track and understand the strengths of individual fraternity and sorority chapters. SOE is not a competition or mandatory, but we highly encourage and recognize chapters who participate in the program and meet the highest standards each semester. In addition to being highlighted here each semester, chapters who reach gold status for both semesters in a school year will also receive a trophy recognizing their efforts.
